As part of my bridesmaids version of the game, for every question I got right there were going to add a lei to me and here's how it went.....We started off with some easy questions like when is Mike's Birthday, no problem there. Then we moved into some more like what is Mike's favorite food. I was ready for this one from his previous facebook quiz where he put Olive Pizza (which he never orders). The grooms favorite color was also easy, blue, as was answering his favorite sports team, The Yankees. I pretty much got his favorite band, I had two answers on that one but Lifehouse was right.
There were also questions such as if "the groom were to be a superhero who would he be?" no clue on that one, who knew he would be batman? Then there was what animal would the groom compare the bride to? I guessed a dog but Mike had said "a bunny because they are cute and cuddly" I think he was trying to score points with the crowd with this one. I also got what is the grooms favorite thing to do on the weekend, my response "nothing" his was "lounging" same thing :-)
Mike totally lied on this one, how many kids do you want? I had said two but he decided to be funny and go with 5.5. Hell no buddy. Mike agreed with me on the if we could live anywhere in the world question where would it be, I knew it wasn't New Jersey, we both said London, that would be my dream! He also said our favorite restaurant to eat at is Dunkin Donuts, which it is, we go there all the time for breakfast on the weekends, totally couldn't think of that one on the spot though. And for more brownie points the question of what is the groom's dream vacation, I said Italy, but he scored points with the response of our Honeymoon, duh on my part.
Then things got little bit more interesting as Mike took some liberties with the game....
Q: Where was the bride and grooms first kiss
R Answer: The city
M Answer: On the NYC subway after she told me she wasn't ready for a relationship 20 minutes earlier. She couldn't help herself, still can't.
Q: Where did the Bride & Groom meet:
Q: Where did the Bride & Groom meet:
R Answer: IBM/ Softball team
M Answer: Where everyone dreams of meeting, on the slow-pitch softball field just after I hit a home run. Chicks dig the long ball
Q: What is the grooms nickname for the bride:
R Answer: Meatball? Q: What is the grooms nickname for the bride:
M Answer: "I've tried a few over the years, but munchkin is my favorite. I had tried meatball since she is a big fan of them but it didn't fly with her.
Then Mike took some more liberties with his own questions he wanted added in.
Q: How many blocks did the bride make the groom walk on their first date, due to her exceptional sense of direction? A: 10, give or take 50 blocks to the Met. -- This one I got
And for the finale, this one I didn't even want to attempt but it was pretty funny, Mike loves this story.
Q: What's the strangest things the groom says the bride has ever done. A: Tried to communicate with a neighbor's dog (which was note warm & fuzzy) at a friends BBQ by barking back at it. Any girl who can communicate that well with animals is a keeper. Dialogue went something like Dog: "roof roof roof roof" Rachel to Mike: "There's a big scary dog over there!!" Rachel to Dog: "roof roof roof roof!", Rachel to Mike: "It's a doggie". It was also at this time that I knew she was a complete nutjob.
