Books

If you know me at all, there's two things that I always mention: (1) I love to read, and (2) I love my kindle. I don't have to say it again how much I love to read. I just continue to be amazed at how much more I've been reading since I got my kindle. I love picking up my kindle and reading. I'll read on the couch while Mike is watching sports or something I'm not interested in, all curled up under the blankets since all you need is your thumb to click.

I can't believe that in 2011 I read over a dozen books and almost doubles that in 2012. I've been reading a lot of "light, chick-lit" books, I keep finding all these $2.99 or less books on Amazon, that I can't resist and usually end up reading them in a day or two. I love the ones where the main character is living abroad. Two of the book I've read the main character has been living in Paris, I'm a sucker for those type of story lines, and the one I started today the main character lives in London. Although I do love a good New York Times Bestseller book, those ones are usually a bit heavier, and expensive. I figure for $2.99 reading a good book is so much more satisfying than a movie rental, and it's cheaper these days, how could you go wrong?
