We had so much fun at Michelle's wedding, everything was so beautiful. I couldn't get over all of the details and the work that she put into it, everything was just so perfect, that's the only way I can put it. Since I am in no way shape or form even remotely close to taking any kind of professional level type pictures I couldn't help but want to post some of Michelle's beautiful teaser shots. I'm also somewhat prejudice about how awesome her teaser pictures are since they used the same photographer that we did, and it reminded me of our own teaser shots. The pictures came out so beautiful, I loved all the colors and of course the beach theme that I wanted to share a few of them!
A journey to the alter and after with everything from life, love, friends, being a newlywed, working on my domestic diva skills filled with lots of fun adventures along the way

Sand, Sea & A Wedding!
This Columbus Day weekend was the long awaited wedding of our very good friends Chris and Michelle. Michelle had dreamed of a beach wedding for as long as I've known her, you can def call her a beach rat. She moved down to the Jersey shore so she could be closer to the beach. So we all packed up the car and headed down to Long Beach Island, NJ for the wedding festivities.
Michelle thought of every little detail, I couldn't believe even the Coach (her favorite store) wristlets she found for the girls how perfectly they matched with the beach details, I've never seen those before but they could not have been any more perfect. Her bouquet was also amazing, loved the orange!

Here is Minister Mike before the ceremony signing all the official documentation,
and some last minute practicing with the bride before the ceremony.
They almost didn't get to have a beach ceremony as rain threatened to crash the wedding but thankfully it cleared up a bit and held out enough to let them get married on the beach and make Michelle's dream come true. Below is the beautiful beach ceremony set up, and I loved the beach lanterns Michelle made to line the aisles.
Here comes the minister, he was def nervous to say the least but he did such a fantastic job
After a short but perfect ceremony in which Mike married the couple
He was quite relieved when it was done!
These are only a few of the amazing details that Michelle worked on. I could not get over all of the hard work and planning that went into the perfect beach wedding. I loved the table decorations of all the beautiful teal and white candles with beach pebbles and the sea glass.
To the card box which was a lantern and even the time capsule for the guest book that they, Michelle did all of the planning, everything looked so professional. They even got custom M&M's (Michelle's favorite candy) with the thank you cards on them designed by Mike's Dad!
And finally some pictures of all of us having a great time and enjoying the wedding.
Fun times were def had by all! So happy for the beautiful Bride & Groom!

The Dress Reflection
When referring to dresses, there is really only one dress that matters the most in a woman's lifetime, her wedding dress. Now you might remember my wedding dress drama, ok who am I kidding, anyone reading this could hardly forget everything I went through with my first dress, but now that I can look back over a year later (and even at the time) it was easy to see that the dress I wore on my wedding day was meant to be my dress. It was far more spectacular than my original one. The original one paled in comparison.
I guess what I am trying to say is that although its a simplistic example that some things in life are meant to be, I believe I was meant to go through all that drama with the first dress so I could get an even more amazing dress. I remember two weeks before the wedding I fell in love with a puppy, I was so close to buying him, I had named him Charlie and carried his picture around with me for weeks afterwards. I even cried when I found out he was sold. I'm sure Charlie would have been a wonderful dog, but then we'd never have our Rocky, and let's face it, Rocky is a pretty amazing little fella and he's part of our family. There was also the other house we were going to buy on the other side of our complex, in the end we ended up losing the bid to another couple but then we got this house, which we think is even better. Sometimes things are just meant to be.
Anyway, getting back on track, the reason I am writing about my wedding dress over a year later, is that I finally packed up the dress, after it had been hanging up in the guest room closet all this time and got it preserved. Not going to lie I was a little sad I couldn't try it on again before it got packed up, probably never to see the light of day again for at least another 30 years or so. Sadly, though I couldn't fit into that dress if I tried, I'm calling it the Newlywed Ten (aka the ten pounds I've put on since the wedding and cannot for the life of me seem to lose it). While I won't be wearing the dress again anytime soon, it will be nice to have it packed up nicely and look back on it with fond memories. I did also send the original dress in for donation to Brides Against Breast Cancer, so maybe some good can come of that first dress. I wouldn't change anything that happened with my two wedding dresses, it was just meant to be!

Decisions, Decisions
Chances are if you're one of the few people I know that are reading this you're qualified to help me decide. It's now been over a year and I still haven't picked out a wedding picture to frame for the bedroom. Can someone please help me decide (since Mike won't). I think I've narrowed it down to these 5 (although I'm open to other suggestions from the remaining 850). Keep in mind, this will either be probably a 16x20 print (I think that is the size, if you know the size too, let me know, haha). In no particular order, I think I am leaning towards either 4 or 5.... What do you think?
Oh and I have a 5x7 frame for the night table as well, I think I'm leaning towards a black and white one for that. I think I am leaning toward 3 or 5. So many good pictures, so hard to pick!
