For the next leg of our trip we were off to North Carolina. First stop was at the Alu household to see Carmen, Dawn and Jayden. Carmen and Dawn moved down there, although its hard to believe, 2 years ago, and we'd be wanting to get down there and see their beautiful house. Their house is gorgeous, exactly what you'd want in your dream home, def a kitchen I could work with for sure! I'd love an island like that, all the counter space! We got the full tour of the house, including the pool, which was a work in progress at the time, and checked into our guest suite upstairs.
We had a wonderful time staying with Carmen and Dawn. Dawn cooked us a wonderful meal on Monday night and Tuesday we all got to go out to dinner to one of Wake Forests finest Italian restaurants. And who could forget the delicious bbq lunch Carmen and I had. And we had a great time hanging out with little Jayden, who is getting so big already! He's such a cutie!
