We started our journey quite early on Sunday morning leaving our house by 6:15am and heading down to the in-laws house to drop off little Rocky, who was lucky enough to be staying with his Grandparents for the week who spoil him rotten. After a quick trip at Wawa (which they really need up by us in North Jersey), we were on the road to Virginia by 8. I have to say the drive to Andrea's house really wasn't bad at all, I think it was about 6 hours in total and went by really fast. Before we knew it we were pulling into their driveway.
And there he was beautiful little Isaac Raymond, an absolute cutie!!! I was so happy to finally get to meet this adorable little guy, and boy was he adorable. He was even cuter in person than in his pictures, he has these adorable little checks and the beautiful red hair just like his mommy. Doesn't hurt that his Mom and Dad make a cute kid together. He just chilled out with us for the afternoon, very easy going little guy. And for nap time, his Daddy puts him to sleep listening to his favorite band, the soothing sounds of Metallica, it was pretty cute to watch Adam in action. Even Mike was getting in on the fun. Plus it was fun to catch up with him Mommy too!
We had a great time but way too fast afternoon in Richmond. We were spoiled with a delicious BBQ for lunch and for dinner we all went out for ice cream, Isaac too! Well he got his later through other means, but it was a perfect summer afternoon getting to meet the little guy. I can't wait till my next trip down there to see how big he's gotten!
