Napa Baby!

We're going to Napa! I can cross item #2 off my 30 before 30 list, travel to Napa Valley, California. An unexpected trip came up with our friends Joe and Gina. After talking about it over dinner when they were over recently they asked us if we're like to join them for a trip out west, of course we said yes! I almost didn't think it was going to work out because they wanted to go in May when airfare is pretty cheap but I also have my Disney trip coming up. We were able to compromise and settle on going Memorial Day weekend so we'd only have to take 2 extra days off work and make a long weekend out of it. Friday morning coming home on the red eye Tuesday night so we'll get 5 full days out the trip.

I'm really looking forward to all the fun things we'll so and do while we're there. We've already booked a San Francisco day tour which includes going to "The Rock" (Alcatraz) and a city tour. We're planning to go see all the local attractions from fisherman's wharf to Lombard Street, to Muir Woods, and of course my favorite a day trip to Napa Valley! I've already started looking for tours for that, that one I volunteered to research.

And if that weren't enough, coincidentally the Yankees are in town!!! Go figure, Mike didn't realize until after we booked the trip. Mike and his buddy Joe are huge Yankee fans so of course you know we have to go to the game. We'll be spending Monday afternoon on Memorial Day over at "The Coliseum" home of the Oakland "A's" (Athletics).

Now I really can't wait for May to get here, I'll finally be graduating, then it's off to Disney World and then San Francisco & Napa. I hope May hurries up and gets here already!!!
