Rocky Goes Swimming!

Rocky spent his fourth of July this year going swimming. It was his first time in the pool and it's safe to say he seemed to enjoy it! He was the hit of the party, everyone loved him, and loved taking him in the pool. He started off his afternoon by literally jumping into the hot tub! We couldn't believe it, one minute he was on the steps of the hot tub looking at it and the next minute he literally jumped in, if I hadn't seen it myself I wouldn't have believed it! We then decided he should try something a little more refreshing than the hot tub, and something with more exercise. 

Rocky also went boggie boarding in the pool. He just stood there, he didn't seem to mind too much. 

When he wasn't in the pool he literally did laps around the pool, circling it all day. 

Rocky's surgeon had actually recommended that he go swimming this summer since it would be good exercise for his back leg to help him continue his recovery. Mike and his Dad helped him work on his stroke, swimming back and forth between the two of them. 

Rocky had a great first day in the pool, he really seemed to love it. Of course he had fun at the party as well. And needless to say he slept good that night!
