Beautiful Beach Wedding

We were invited to my friend Emily's Cape Cod Wedding last month. We made the trip north to the cape for the wedding. Halfway through our drive in the middle of Connecticut somewhere Mike says "I left my bag at home." One trip to Walmart and Payless shoes later, oh and one to Target later on too for a belt, we were good to go.

The wedding was right over the bridge to the Cape which made it really easy to get to. It was at this pretty country club, the Brookside Club, right on a golf course. The location and setting was really pretty. The ceremony was held in an outdoor tent right on the golf course. It was one of the most personal ceremonies I'd ever seen, they read this adorable poem called "I like you" by by Sandol Stoddard Warburg, it was so cute and they wrote their vows together, it was very sweet.

It was a small and intimate wedding and Emily had planned out all the details beautifully, she thought of everything for a beautiful beach wedding. They had sanddollars for the name tags. Each of the tables were named after towns in Cape Cod and there was an adorable sign that had all the table names/towns on it. The cake was one of the prettiest cakes I've ever seen, it was an amazing beach cake. She even had the basket of flip flops for people to dance in. All the details were perfect and so well thought out for their beautiful day!

One detail I didn't plan on was that my dress matched the bridesmaids almost perfectly. It was the same color and length, who would've known? It was a great dress though!
A sneak peak from Emily's photographer of the happy couple on the beach!
And me and the bride!
