Our First Nephew

Our very first nephew, little Jayden, will be making his big entrance into this world in winter 2011 and to prepare for his arrival we packed up our bags and headed to none other than Scranton, PA (which according to one is the happiest place on earth) to attend the baby shower honoring his arrival. We were headed to Dawn's Baby Shower to celebrate the occasion.

Before we could go though we had made a trip over to Babies R Us to purchase a gift and let me just say that Uncle Mike really seemed to enjoy his trip to the store. He picked out his very own special gift to give to his future nephew. He couldn't resist a Giants football onesie and even a Giants track suit for when the little guy gets older. He was so proud of his purchase, and so was our nephews Dad, Carmen. It's an annual tradition for Carmen, Mike, and their Dads (along with a few other guys, so plenty of testosterone) to go to a Giants away game every year and I'm sure one day Carmen will be bringing his new son along as well.

We had a great time celebrating Jayden's future arrival, playing fun baby games, eating lots of delicious food and of course see all the great gifts for Jayden. Who knew they made things like a wee blocker for little boys. Jayden also has all his sports teams already set in stone for him, he's got a ton of Yankee gear  already! He def got some cute gifts now we can't wait for his arrival on/about February 4th, we know his parents can't wait!
