Card Box

This was not one of the things that when I thought of our wedding that it was a project I would be interested in, but I have to admit, it's kind of growing on me. I guess blame it on all the wedding websites, blogs and other sites I spend way too much time on looking for all kinds of ideas.

Two years ago I probably never would have paid any attention to a card box as a wedding detail. And I'm probably sure that 90% of the wedding guest probably wouldn't either, especially if it is the guys that are putting the cards in the box. I guess I can also try and blame it on my always wanting to do craft projects. Growing up my mom was ALWAYS making craft projects with me.

I do have an interest in making my own card box. I certainly wouldn't buy one. People are charging upwards of $70-90 for these types of boxes and then some! I might try and make one if I have the time so we'll see. It's on "my list".... You can see more examples on websites like this
